A conversation on automotive design with Syd Mead

The latest episodes of Autoline’s “This Week” features a conversation about automotive design, with legendary concept designer Syd Mead, Jim Hall from 2953 Analytics and John Manoogian from the College for Creative Studies.


In the 25-minute video former transportation designer and visual futurist Syd Mead tells about the Hollywood movies in which he was involved – including Blade Runner, Aliens, Tron and the recent Elysium.

The panel also deals with current trends and technologies, like the future of transportation, autonomous driving systems and personal mobility vehicles, such as the recent EN-V developed by General Motors.
