IAT Electric Concepts at Beijing 2010

At the 2010 Beijing Auto Show Chinese carmaker IAT Auto has presented three electric concept vehicle: a futuristic crossover called "Zhu Feng" (Bamboo Wind), a sedan named eTaxi and a sporty vehicle called Wufeng II.


Debuting at the 2010 Beijing Auto Show, the three electric concepts were developed by IAT Auto in partnership with Japanese battery maker ENAX, and are "inspired by Chinese tradition and culture.”

IAT Bamboo Wing Electric Concept IAT Bamboo Wing Electric ConceptThe first concept is named Zhu Feng(Bamboo Wind). It is a futuristic crossover with a top speed of 145 km/h and a range of 160 km.

IAT ETaxi Electric Concept IAT ETaxi Electric Concept IAT ETaxi Electric ConceptSThe second one is called "eTaxi", an electric sedan with a more conventional design and a 250kg battery pack that can be replaced in just 90 seconds.

IAT Wufeng II Electric Concept IAT Wufeng II Electric Concept IAT Wufeng II Electric ConceptThe last concept car is the Wufeng II, an evolution of the Wufeng Concept presented in 2006. Among the features are the gullwing doors and sporty performances, with a top speed of 200 km/h and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7 seconds.
