The trend for exclusivity and customisation continues to grow ever stronger and although the FX is already a very rare car on European roads, they are to produce a special run of the Infiniti FX Limited Edition.
Availability of the luxury crossover SUV will be capped at 100 units in Western Europe and include distinguishing features to differentiate it from the rest of the crowd.
Body colour is limited to black or white metallic. The details are finished in dark graphite including the alloy wheels, grille and air vents.
The arch filling 21inch turbine inspired wheels are formed to aid the flow of cooling air to the brakes and are unique to the Limited Edition. They’re possibly the biggest clue to the cars exclusivity.
The grille has a distinctive “double wave” update which gives greater modernity to the front end that is further energised by the smoked headlight surrounds.
The imposing character of the FX is enhanced best with the contrast of the fashionable white body work against the graphite details.
Materials use is well considered from the graphite leather with contrasting stitch work, to the Alcantara roof lining.
There’s further contrast with these traditional soft materials offered by the use of modern genuine carbon fibre on the dash and centre console to house the Connectiviti+ infotainment system.
These modifications offer a substantially different environment to the greyer plastics and wooden surrounds of the standard car.
Overall the design makes good use of the established FX base with new modern details that compliment, whilst also showing off in contrasting colours and materials.
