Volkswagen Concept BlueSport: new images

Volkswagen has released new images on the Concept BlueSport, the compact mid-engined roadster focused on driving fun and fuel efficiency. Technical features include a weight of 1,200 kg and a 180 hp TDI engine.


While it’s still uncertain whether VW will turn the Concept BlueSport into a production reality, the Wolfsburg-based manufacturer has released a new set of images on the compact rodster unveiled at the 2009 Detroit Motor Show.

Focused on driving fun and fuel efficiency, the Concept BlueSport is powered by a 180hp diesel engine, reaches a top speed of 226 km/h and has an avrage fuel consumption of 4.3 liters per 100 km.
