BMW X1 preview

BMW has unveiled some teaser images and official videos of its upcoming X1 model, the compact SUV which is scheduled to debut at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show.


BMW has released some official preview images of the X1 compact SUV and two videos available on the official bmw-web.tv website. The upcoming production model is based on the X1 Concept presented at the 2008 Paris Motor Show.

The BMW X1 will be officially unveiled at the next Frankfurt Motor Show in September. The range of engines will include a 3.0 liter gasoline unit (X1 28i, 258 hp) and two variants of a 2.0 liter diesel engine (X1 20d, 177 hp and X1 23d, 204 hp with twin turbo).
