Founded in 1950, the Good Design Award is the world’s oldest and one of the most celebrated awards programs
that bestows international recognition upon designers and manufacturers for advancing new and
innovative product concepts and for stretching the envelope beyond what is considered standard product and consumer design.
Among the winning projects in the Transportation category is the Vandenbrink GTO, a tribute to the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO based on the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, planned for a limited series production of just 5 units.
The award was given by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design. Below we report the list of the automobile winning projects in the Transportation category.
