About the 1970 De Tomaso Pantera

The Pantera can be considered as the symbol of De Tomaso. It was developed in partnership with Ford, which aimed at creating a rival for the GM’s Corvette.

It was designed by Tom Tijarda, creator of the Lancia Flaminia and, in more recent years, of the Ford Fiesta and the Lancia Y10. From 1970 to 1991 the De Tomaso Pantera was produced in 7,260 units.
