Local Motors’ video shows large scale 3D printing

Local Motors has posted a short video showing the design and manufacturing process under development for 3D printing an entire vehicle.

Local Motors is determined to bring the 3D printing manufacturing process into actual car production, and has already presented two 3D printable prototypes: the 2014 Strati and the 2015 Swim.

The video gives an overview of the production workflow, from the design to the slicing to the actual manufacturing using large-scale 3D printing.
