Peugeot unveils restyled 2008

At the 2016 Geneva Motor Show Peugeot will present the restyled 2008 compact SUV, featuring a new face and an extensive array of onboard technologies.

Peugeot’s restyled 2008 will replace the original model introduced in 2013 which received a wide success with over 500,000 units sold until December 2015.

The front end of the restyled 2008 features a new grille with a curved contour and vertical elements, framing the Peugeot Lion badge.

The surface treatment adopts cleaner shapes, leaving out the sharp edges on the hood and front bumper, which is now characterized by more subtle, horizontal accents.

Seen from the side, the restyled 2008 features wheel-arch plastic protections that visually lighten the flanks while making the wheels appear bigger.

The rear end maintains the main features of the original model, with the distinctive interplay of elements and materials of the raised upper section, where the wave-shaped motif in bright chrome emerging from the rear doors is visually matched by the roof bar and extended to the integrated  rear spoiler.

Among the onboard equipment are the i-Cockpit system, Grip Control traction system, Mirror Screen and Apple Carplay®, along with the reversing camera, Active City Brake and Park Assist.
