Mazda previews next-gen CX-9 crossover SUV

At the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show Mazda will unveil the new three-row midsize crossover SUV set to replace the current CX-9 model.


Anticipated by a design sketch, the next CX-9 will incorporate SKYACTIV technologies and evolve the “KODO—Soul of Motion” design language aiming at a more “premium design execution”.

The new model will replace the current CX-9, which is built on the Ford CD3 platform – the same of the Ford Edge – and equipped with the Ford 3.7 L V6 engine.
