Daihatsu D-Base Concept
The D-Base Concept is a Kei Car targeted to customers living in Japanese urban environments. It is 3.4 meters long, 1.48 meters wide and 1.49 meters tall.
The car is powered by a 660cc 3-cylinder engine coupled with a CVT transmission that allows to achieve a 3l/100 km efficiency (78.4 mpg), also thanks to an braking energy recovery system.
The D-Base could anticipate the lines of the successor to the current Mira kei car (also known as the Cuore).
Daihatsu Hinata Concept
The Hinata is a compact passenger car focused on offering a functional, spacious interior with a refined and stylish look.
The design expresses a “natural relaxed feel”, both in shapes and colors. The boxy look is attenuated by smooth transition surfaces and rounded elements.
Daihatsu NORI ORI Concept
The NORI ORI (which means “getting in and out”) is a practical commuter for a near future, aimed at providing easy access to the vehicle.
It features an ultra-low-floor using a fold and kneel system that makes it very easy to get in and out, also thanks to the 2-way access doors that open widely, letting passenger enter or exit the car from the side as well as from the back.
Inside, a retractable slope is set near the front passenger seat, and a floor lift is set at the rear
Thanks to the flat floor, the interior provides sufficient space to carry two unfolded wheelchairs.
Daihatsu Tempo Concept
The Tempo is a compact commercial vehicle that makes full use of the flexible floor (FF) platform.
The main feature is a large gull-wing door with LED lighting installed on the passenger-seat side.
A digital sign mounted on the side of the vehicle can be used as a signboard.
