Nissan teases Crossover Concept

Concept Cars 7 Sep 2015

At the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show Nissan will present a new crossover study, focused on “driving excitement”.

The new crossover will join a family of successful models that includes the Juke, Qashqai and X-Trail ranges, which together have been sold in Europe in more than 2.5 million units.

Nissan Crossover Concept - Preview Design Render

The lightened render above shows an elaborated design, with the arrow-shaped LED headlight – evolving a theme already introduced with the 2014 Sport Sedan Concept and later seen on the new Murano and Lannia – and a distinctive reinterpretation of the trademark trapezoidal grille, with an additional element that doubles the bottom contour, framing the central Nissan badge.

Other interesting details are the roof, with a design that is not fully revealed – and what appear to be see-though A pillars, reminding of the Volvo SCC Concept from 2001.
