Mazda previews Koeru concept ahead of Frankfurt Show

Mazda has released a preview sketch of the Koeru Concept, a study of a crossover SUV that will feature a distinctive interpretation of the KODO design theme.


Koeru is a Japanese word for “exceed” or “go beyond”, and signals the company’s plan to further expand its presence in the growing crossover SUV market.

The concept, equipped with the full line-up of Mazda’s latest SKYACTIV Technology, will be based on a “powerful rendition” of the KODO – Soul of Motion design theme, expressing “the power and vitality of a predator along with a unique level of refined dignity”.

At the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show (17-27 September) Mazda will also display its new-generation model line-up in Frankfurt. including an all-new Mazda MX-5 complete with accessories as well as several SKYACTIV powertrains.
