Stefan Lamm will join the company on February 1, and will report directly to Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos, Head of Design at SEAT.
Lamm will replace Jorge Díez, who has been appointed Head of Audi Automotive Concept Design in Munich.
About Stefan Lamm
Born in Dortmund, Germany in 1969, Stefan Lamm studied at the School of Design of the University of Pforzheim. He then earned a degree in Transport Design Sciences from the Vevey (Switzerland) Art Center College of Design.
In 1994 he moved to GM Europe, Rüsselsheim, where he worked as exterior designer and, from 2002, as Chief Designer.
From January 2005 until March 2009 he was Exterior Designer at ford Europe and in March 2009 he was appointed Exterior Chief Designer of the Cologne-based studio.
During these 10 years Lamm was involved in many global projects, including the Ford B-Max, Kuga/ Escape and the new Mondeo/ Fusion and was also responsible for concept cars and advanced design (S Max Concept, Evos Concept and Vetrek Concept).
