Mazda previews CX-3 ahead of LA Auto Show debut

At the upcoming 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show Mazda will reveal the CX-3, its all-new compact crossover SUV based on the SKYACTIV technology and “KODO – Soul of Motion” design language.

According to the carmaker, with the new CX-3 the KODO design philosophy – which represents the expression of life within a vehicle – “has been evolved to produce a sharper form with an enhanced sense of speed.”

Along the new crossover, the all-new Mazda MX-5 roadster will also make its North American motor show debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The engine line-up for the new MX-5 Roadster will be tailored to each market, with either a 1.5-liter or 2.0-liter SKYACTIV-G gasoline unit mounted longitudinally for its rear-wheel drive configuration.

North American-specification models will only be fitted with the 2.0-liter variant.
