Announced back in July, the new Lagonda has been developed by the Q bespoke division and will be produced in a limited series of less than 100 units, all targeted to selected customers in the Middle East.
A prototype was recently shot in the Oman desert during testings. The design combines the current aesthetic language with sharper lines – an iconic styling element of the reknown Lagonda designed by William Towns and produced from 1976 to 1989.
According to the first rumors, the Lagonda could be equipped with an AMF’s 6-liter V12 engine with approx 600 hp – the same unit thatpowrs the Rapid S.
Among the technical highlights are the extensive use of carbon fiber, while the technical basis is provided by the company’s flexible VH architecture.
