First teased back in January, the Exalt aims at evolving the aesthetic language and ideas introduced with the Onyx Concept in 2012, with the declared goal of “pleasing the senses”.
In particular, Peugeot designers have explored new material possibilities for the outer panels, adopting a combination of bare metal and a textile called Shark Skin, while on the Onyx the body was made of carbon fiber and copper.
The interior was designed with a particular attention to acoustic comfort and, like the exterior, showcases a mix of unusual materials – natural wool-based “chiné” mixed fabric, aged leather, bare steel and ebony, adorned with a design created by the trio PINWU Design.
Among the announced technologies are i-Cockpit, black light, Pure Blue air purifier, and the gasoline HYbrid4 drive train has an output of 340hp.
