Tokyo 2013: Mitsubishi Concept AR

The Mitsubishi Concept AR is a next-generation compact MPV equipped with a 1.1 liter engine and featuring an interior with a flexible 4+2 seating layout.

Along with the other two concepts that will make their debut at the upcoming 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, the GC-PHEV and the XR-PHEV, the Concept AR will demonstrate the company’s new design direction and its ‘@earth’ philosophy.

The wedge-shaped exterior is characterized by a surface treatment that uses clean surfaces and several linear contours, influenced by the product design world.

The overall look conveys a sense of solidity and functionality and can be considered as a less extreme variant of the Concept XR-PHEV’s design.

Very nice sketching, the design has personality and its great in terms of proportions. And the real vehicle looks quite similar to the renderings. This time I like it!
