Scott Robertson is one of the most active and respected design instructors in the industrial, transportation and entertainment design field.
In addition to running the publishing company Design Studio Press and working on his own titles – both educational and not – he teaches online workshops at Schoolism, publishes one free design tutorial every week on his YouTube channel and since last year he’s been also teaching live classes.
The next live workshops are titled “Advanced 2D Workflow” and “Advanced 3D Workflow” – Tips, Techniques and Shortcuts.
They are planned as two half-day workshops in San Francisco on November 16 and as two full-day workshops in Los Angeles on November 23 and 24, 2013.
The 2D workshops will cover a broad range of topics, from practical tips to more general design topics such as creating and using sources of inspiration, styling do’s and don’t, idea communication, style, etc.
The 3D workshops will show Scott’s original use of 3D software (MODO) and its integration with other 2D tools in the overall creative process.
The San Francisco 4-hour Workshops have a fee of $149 ($99 for students), while the Los Angeles 8-hour workshops have a fee of $199 ($149 for students). For the LA classes it’s possible to reserve both classes with a $50 discount.
For each workshop seating is limited to 30 attendees. You can find the complete program and reserve your spot on scottrobertsonworkshops.com.
