Following the BMW Zagato Coupé presented at the 2012 edition of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, this year the German carmaker has partnered with Pininfarina to create another one-off.
The Gran Lusso Coupé is a luxurious coué that combines the BMW trademark proportions – long wheelbase, stretched hood, short overhangs and a set-back greenhouse with smoothly sloping roofline and the Hofmeister kink – with the refined surfacing typical of the Italian design firm.
The Gran Lusso Coupé will be revealed on May 24, 2013, and follows a series of concept cars revealed by BMW at the company-sponsored Villa d’Este event – including the M1 Hommage (2008), the 328 Hommage (2011) and the already mentioned Zagato Coupé.
