share on BufferFollowing the BMW Zagato Coupé presented at the 2012 edition of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, this year the German carmaker has partnered with Pininfarina to create another one-off.
The Gran Lusso Coupé is a luxurious coué that combines the BMW trademark proportions – long wheelbase, stretched hood, short overhangs and a set-back greenhouse with smoothly sloping roofline and the Hofmeister kink – with the refined surfacing typical of the Italian design firm.
The Gran Lusso Coupé will be revealed on May 24, 2013, and follows a series of concept cars revealed by BMW at the company-sponsored Villa d’Este event – including the M1 Hommage (2008), the 328 Hommage (2011) and the already mentioned Zagato Coupé.
