Designed by Tokyo-based Honda R&D, the “CHiPs” 2025 Traffic Crawler is a sporty vehicle designed for the California Highway Patrol of the year 2025.

The concept was penned by Ryo Nakayama from Honda R&D Japanese Advanced Design Studio, and envisions a world where vehicles are freed from environmental constraints and – as a result – they are getting bigger in size.

“Despite the transition period to safe automatic driving, the traffic environment is again becoming confusing and challenging as California resumes its once flourishing car culture.”
