The AutoDesign Prague is an event organized by Czech magazine AutoDesign&Styling, open to both professionals and the general public.
The event will take place at the Technical National Library in Prague on Thursday, on October 18, with ten presentations and an accompanying program.
A number of exclusive cars will be on display and at the conference partners’ stands visitors will have the chance to try out 3D and clay modeling as well as the latest designing tools, from software to building prototypes and 3D printing.
Among the brightest stars of this year’s AutoDesign Prague is Peter Stevens, who designed the McLaren F1 supercar and worked for Lotus, Jaguar, MG and other car brands.
As a long-time professor of the most prestige design school, the Royal College of Art in London, he has influenced many of today’s designers who have passed this school and he is a real guru of car world.
Among other highlights will be the presentation by Tony Hatter, designer of the Porsche 911 (993), who currently holds the position of design manager of Porsche’s sports car division.
A designer from Jaguar will reveal the inside story of F-Type model, which had its premiere a few days ago at the Paris Motor Show.
Others speakers will deal with the latest trends in the field of design, mobility, materials and other relating fields.
“After a successful previous year we have thought about how to make the program more interesting and at the same time offer an even more intensive way to present automotive design. The result is a new individual follow-up workshop for a limited number of the most serious candidates, who will be able to go through the key stages of design process under the guidance of experts, or even to consult their own portfolio with professional designers,” explains Radek Laube, one of the organizers of AutoDesign Prague and Editor-in-chief of AutoDesign&Styling magazine.
