Scott Robertson has recently announced a new series of live workshops targeted to industrial and concept designers.
The first one is titled Rendering Reflective Surfaces and will take place this weekend, on Sunday September 23, 2012.
It virtually follows and completes Scott’s series of educational DVDs published by The Gnomon Workshop, and dealing with the rendering of matte surfaces.

This class requires “a general understanding of working within Photoshop and a strong understanding of rendering matte surfaces.”
The second workshop is titled Drawing and Sketching and is scheduled for October 21, 2012. It will teach the foundations of perspective drawing and how to sketch objects and environments from one’s imagination.
For each workshop seating is limited to 40 attendees, and the participation fee is $299, with a $100 discount available for up to 20 students.
Participants will also have the chance of purchasing books by Design Studio Press – the publishing house run by Scott himself – at a very special discounted price.
