Peugeot has released a short video clip that previews the Onyx Concept, a design study of an extreme sportscar that will debut at the upcoming Paris Motor Show.

The short video shows a bold design with a cab-forward layout, tight surfaces and sharp, angular edges. Among the distinctive elements are the grilles and active wing at the rear and the particular surface treatment of the hood.

According to the first rumors, the Onyx Concept could be powered by a hybrid powertrain with a 1.6 liter turbocharged unit and an electric motor, delivering a total of 400 HP.
