McLaren has unveiled a video teaser of the P12, the F1 successor that will make its debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.

The video shows through evocative virtual airflow light lines the main shapes of the P12, the upcoming hypercar model that will succeed the iconic F1, that was built in just 106 units from 1992 to 1998.

From the clip it is possible to spot powerful shoulders, a continuous, arched roofline and a front end that evolves the “face” of the MP4-12C.

According to the first unofficial information, the P12 could be powered by a 800 hp variant of the twin-turbo V8 engine that equips the MP4-12C, coupled with an advanced kinetic energy recovery system capable delivering an additional 200 hp.
