Ferrari P4/5 LMP: first design sketches

A set of sketches that preview the Ferrari P4/5 LMP, a new one-off commissioned by James Glickenhaus to race in the 2014 LMP1 championship.


The first P4/5 was commissioned to Pininfarina/Ferrari by American collector James Glickenhaus in 2006 and was based on a Enzo.

Ferrari P4-5 LMP Design Sketches It was followed in 2010 by the P4/5 Competizione, with a chassis derived from the 430 Scuderia. With this car James Glickenhaus recently set a 6:51 lap time on the N├╝rburgring.

According to recent rumors, the new P4/5 could be based on the structure of the new Ferrari 458 and could be equipped with a kinetic energy recovery system.

The project is still being evaluated and Glickenhaus reportedly commented “we do not exclude the possibility of building a P4/5 LMP”.
