Ford Australia designer Peter Jones moves to Lincoln

Ford Australia designer Peter Jones has been appointed interior design manager for the luxury Lincoln brand.


Peter Jones will be based in Dearborn, MI, and will report to Max Wolff, a fellow Australian and former colleague, who has taken the role of Design Director at Lincoln in January 2011.

Ford Australia designer Peter JonesBoth Peter Jones and Max Wolff graduated from Melbourne-based Monash University with a Bachelor of Industrial Design.

Jones has worked at the Ford Australia’s design center for seven years.

He was interior design manager for the new Ranger, and lead exterior designer on the FG Falcon Ute.

Ford Asia Pacific and Africa design director Christopher Svensson explained that the One Ford’ global vehicle development strategy will entail a rotation of design talents throughout the company’s global design studios.
