The Peugeot Urban Crossover Concept was designed by the company’s international teams located in Paris, in Shanghai and in Sao Paulo, and is targeted to customers who have an active lifestyle and live in megacities.
The concept is positioned in the the B segment and combines the features of a SUV with the compactness and versatility of an urban vehicle, while adopting the progressive, refined surfacing and the styling cues of the current Peugeot design language.
Among the design elements are the S-shape of the windows lower edge at the base of the side mirrors, and the original the roof rails, which are tightly integrated in the roof, and constitute a distinctive element of the car’s profile.
The front end features the brand’s “smiling” grille and both the front and rear light signatures adopt the shapes already introduced in the latest production and concept cars of the brand.
The overall modern and high-tech look is also expressed by the metal grey color, which enhances the surface transitions and is contrasted by a number of red-orange LED accents, integrated in the front headlights, front and rear lower air openings, side mirrors, roof rails and rear brake light, which is made of an array of elements that visually match the roof grooves.
