The production of the BMW 8 Series model began in 1989 and ended in 1999. Since then BMW has not yet presented a successor to the flagship 2+2 coupe.
Industrial designer İsmet Çevik from Istanbul has now created a virtual 8 Series, taking inspiration from the BMW Concept CS, as well as from the Bentley Brooklands – with which it shares the generous dimensions – and the Mercedes-Benz CL Class.
The author aimed at combining luxury, sport and “business class” feel, as well as maintaining some of the design elements currently used by the German carmaker.
