The new Wacom Cintiq 24HD is the much expected high definition version that joins the 12WX and the 21UX models.
It combines the technical features of the second-generation Cintiq 21UX with a new 24-inch 16:10 display, with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels.
Among the technical features are a sensitivity of 2,048 levels of pen pressure and 40 degrees of tilt recognition. The controls include ten programmable ExpressKeys, customizable side switches and two Touch Rings.
Given its size, the Cintiq 24HD comes with a new integrated stand, which allows it to adjust the position of the display so that it overhangs the edge of the desk, floating just above the user’s knees.
The Cintiq 24HD is compatible with both Mac and PC platforms, and requires AC power, video (DisplayPort, VGA or DVI) and a USB connection.
The announced price is $2,499.00. For more information visit Wacom’s website.
