At the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show Opel/Vauxhall will reveal a compact 1+1 electric concept targeted to potential young customers.

The 2-seater electric concept has a battery-powered electric powertrain inspired by the Ampera, which allows a 60-mile range and a top speed of 75 mph/120 km/h.

The exterior features rather sleek, futuristic lines and unconventional proportions, with a reduced width achieved through a 1+1 tandem seating layout.

Among the design highlights is the original positioning of the side mirrors, which are located in the inner part of the front fenders, further reducing the overall width.

According to Opel/Vauxhall the concept has the potential to create a new class of light-weight, zero-emissions electric vehicles targeted to young European customers.
