The latest concept car by Kia is a rear-wheel drive four-door sports sedan Described by Kia as “powerful, dynamic and forward-looking”.
The exterior design has a flowing silhouette and a number of distinctive elements, including rear-hinged rear doors, carbon fiber side blades and wheel details and an original, industrial-looking rear end.
Kia Motors Chief Design Officer Peter Schreyer has commented: “No matter from which perspective you look at it – this concept car is roaring with energy and ready for take-off.”
“I believe the car is a strong statement from Kia: we are ready to fast forward to an all new chapter.”
The concept will make its official debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, along with the three-door version of the all-new Rio and a facelift version of the Kia Soul.
Impressive effort. Why can Kia/Hyundai engineer a rear-wheel-drive chassis for its up-market segments while Ford cannot? This is what Lincoln should be doing!

WooOOooww!!! Better by design!
mmm nice “one77” imitation 😉 for the front
Stunning results here! This new design direction looks very promising- now I am more keen then ever to see what the RIO and Soul will bring to the table.
