Terra Prix 2085 is a purely conceptual competition that asks participant to design a racing vehicle for the year 2085. The works will be selected by an exceptional Jury, including concept artists Harald Belker (haraldbelker.com), Syd Mead (sydmead.com), Scott Robertson (drawthrough.com and drawthrough.blogspot.com) and Daniel Simon (danielsimon.net and cosmic-motors.com).
The Terra Prix 2085 is a race around the world traversing all seven continents and includes nearly every terrain imaginable.
Designers are asked to submit three design boards showing a 2-seater racing vehicle and an airborne support craft for the 15 team members, both capable of traveling around the world for 51,000 miles (82,000Km).
The submission deadline is June 7th, 2011 and ten designs will be selected in four different categories.
