Car Design News has published an interesting video with a discussion between Jason Castriota and Chris Bangle on the design of the Saab PhoeniX Concept.

In the discussion at Saab stand, caught on video by Car Design News, Chris Bangle provocatively asks Jason Castriota “Why is the PhoeniX a Saab?”

In the videos below, Jason Castriota – this time alone – gives a detailed presentation of the PhoeniX Concept – at the Geneva Show stand and in an official video.

I kind of agree with Bangle, the rear-end looks like a pontiac firebird from the 90s. The AeroX had a more Saab look all the way around. I only liked the grill and headlights.
