Citroën DS4: design videos

Revealed at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, the Citroën DS4 is the second model in the DS line, and has been recently voted “Most Beautiful Car of the Year”

1 – The Challenge

The DS4 combines the elegance and refinement of coupes and the sense of robustness and protection of a 4×4, resulting into a new “raised 4-door coupé” layout.

2 – French Chic

The goal of color and materials designers was to create a luxury object, taking inspiration from different worlds such as leatherwork, jewelry, haute couture, and clock-making.

They also added refined details targeted to female customers. Overall, the design expresses French style mixed with elements typical of German and Italian cars.

3 – A question of style

The brief given to exterior designers was to take inspiration from a tiger ready to bounce.

The next three episodes of the series will be soon available on Citroën’s dedicated YouTube channel.
