SketchBook Designer 2011 combines freehand drawing and vector workflows

Released by Autodesk on October 2010, Autodesk SketchBook Designer 2011, formerly known as Autodesk Alias Sketch, is a hybrid painting-vector software targeted to digital illustrators and concept designers.


First announced in June 2010 as Alias Design Sketch 2011, the latest design-focused application by Autodesk has changed its name to SketchBook Designer 2011, joining the successful SketchBook software line-up.

This application offers a unique combination of freehand drawing and vector editing capabilities, specifically created for illustrators and concept designers and optimized for working in conjunction with a graphic tablet or a pen display.

SketchBook Designer 2011 is available for Windows and Mac OS X platforms. It is also offered as an add-in for AutoCAD.
