Giles Taylor will join Rolls-Royce from the beginning of April and will report to the company’s chief designer Ian Cameron and to Head of BMW Group design Adrian van Hooydonk.
Taylor is currently chief exterior designer at Jaguar, where he’s been working for 10 years. Among the projects developed under is direction are the new XJ and the XK models.
Below we report a video interview with Giles Taylor by Tamara Warren from Gotryke.com, where the designer talks about his background, design approach and the Jaguar XJ.
