Bertone Jaguar B99 Concept: updates

Ahead of the official debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, Bertone has released new images and information on the Jaguar B99 Concept, a D-segment sedan that explores a new formal language.

Bertone Jaguar B99 ConceptThe Jaguar B99 concept has a compact and wide body that measures 4.5 meters in length, 1.95 meters wide and 1.35 meters tall.

Starting from a classic 3-box layout, the designers have created a tight, muscular body, which was manufactured using aluminum and traditional panel beating techniques.

The interior – which will be revealed at the Geneva Show – is characterized by “sophisticated minimalism” and premium materials such as leather, aluminum and wood.

The Jaguar B99 features a pure hybrid powertrain developed by the new division “Bertone Energia”.

At the upcoming Geneva show Bertone will also have on display a GT2 racing version of the B99, with many aerodynamic enhancements and aggressive graphics.
