Kia previews the new Picanto with design sketches

Kia has revealed the first design sketches of the next generation Picanto model, the compact A-segment city car created by the company’s Frankfurt-based design team directed by Peter Schreyer. It will make its official debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.


The first official sketches preview the upcoming new-generation Picanto, set to debut as a production-ready model at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2011.

According to the first information, the design penned by Kia Chief Design Officer Peter Schreyer and his Frankfurt-based team, aims at bringing “self confidence, solidity and maturity” to this A-segment model.
