Designed by Studiotorino in partnership with IAAD (Istituto d'Arte Applicata e Design) the Coupetorino is a study of an exclusive coupé based on the Mercedes-Benz SL roadster, presented to the public as part of the 'Turin World Design Capital 2008' event.

Virtual Car has made an exclusive test-drive of the Cayman-based Studiotorino RK Coupé. The coverage includes some new images of the construction process.

Based on the Porsche Cayman, the RK Coupé was created by Stola's Studiotorino and is the natural evolution of its first project, the Spyder. Its design was inspired by classic sports cars like the Porsche 904 and the Dino GT 246.
