The Seat Brisa and Duna are two compact electric sportscars powered by Nano Photovoltaic Cells integrated in a translucent elastomer shell. The author is Spanish design student Miguel-Angel Iranzo Sanchez.

Seat has released an official design sketch of the Ibiza ST, the estate variant of the Ibiza model. Designed by a team led by Luc Donckerwolke, it will go on sale during 2010.

Unveiled at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show, the Seat SportCoupé Bocanegra concept is a compact sportscar that hints at the brand's future design direction. Among the styling elements is the semi-transparent black nose in Perspex that gives the car its name.

Seat has inaugurated its new Global Design Center, located within the Technical Center in Martorell, Spain. The complex covers an area of 5,600 square meters and will accomonìdate a hundred among designers, engineers and modellers.

The Tribu Concept, unveiled by Seat at Frankfurt, is the first vehicle designed by Luc Donckerwolke and his team. With its bold grille, dynamic lines and the angular silhouette it previews the design direction of the brand's next generation of models.

SEAT chairman Erich Schmitt has announced that in 2009 Seat will introduce two new C/D-segment models, a saloon and an estate car. Two design sketches were unveiled.
