Unveiled at the 2009 Franfurt Motor Show, the Kangoo Z.E. Concept presents Renault's vision for a future electric vehicle targeted to urban environments and focused on minimizing energy consumption while offering good levels of comfort and practicality.

The Renault Twizy Z.E. Concept is an all-electric compact vehicle which features a width of just 1.1 meters, faired wheels and two seats located one behind the other. It previews the brand's future electric models that will be intrododuced from 2011.

The Fluence Z.E. Concept is Renault's vision of an all-electric family car for the next future. The exterior is characterized by high-tech graphic elements, while the interior features flowing forms. It offers a range of 160 km and previews a production model.

Presented at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Renault Zoe Z.E. Concept is a compact zero-emission vehicle with a sleek, dynamic design inspired by efficiency. It is powered by a 70kW electric motor, reaches a range of 160 km and has a drag coefficient of 0.25.

Renault has revealed the first images of four new electric concept vehicles that will debut at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show and will preview the company's future range of Zero Emission models.

At the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show Renault will unveil the new sedan variant of the Mégane model, named Fluence. The 4.6 meter long four-door car will be focused on comfort and efficiency and will go on sale in November 2009.

At the Laval Virtual Exhibition - a conference on Virtual Reality - Renault has presented R-Screen, a 3D viewer developed in conjunction with French Clarté which features a large-scale projection display that enables users to walk around a virtual vehicle.

Kangoo be bop Z.E. is an all-electric concept vehicle with a 60hp electric motor and lithium-ion batteries which allow for a range of about 100km. It previews the technology which will be adopted on Renault's first production electric vehicles, scheduled for 2011.

Renault has announced that Laurens van den Acker, who had left from his position of General Manager of Mazda Design, will be Vice President of Renault Corporate Design, effective September 2009. He will replace Patrick le Quément who leaves the company after 22 years.
