At the 2008 New York Auto Show Pontiac has unveiled the coupe version of its Solstice model. Inspired by the concept presented in 2002, the Solstice Coupe will go on sale in early 2009.

The Pontiac Solstice SD-290 is a single seater inspired by classic sports cars. The design features a passenger cockpit tonneau cover and a driver-side only windscreen.

At the Chicago Auto Show Pontiac has unveiled the G8 sedan, based on the Holden-engineered global platform. It is focused on performance and will go on sale at the beginning of 2008.
