The Qashkai is a new Compact Crossover created by London-based Nissan Design Europe and inspired by the homonimous concept presented at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show. Styling and dimensions are between a C-segment hatchback and s SUVs.

Presented at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show, Qashkai is the first concept vehicle developed by Nissan Design Europe. Among the distinctive styling elements are the bold and muscular body, rear-hinged back doors and 20 inches wheels.

The Nissan Sport Concept and Infiniti Kuraza concept vehicles will be featured in the science fiction animated movie "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - Solid State Society" produced by Production I.G, a major Japanese animation studio. The film will be available on DVD in 2007.
