This video shows an exclusive AutoCar's interview with designer Gert Hildebrand, who speaks about the design of the Mini Beachcomber Concept, which will debut at the upcoming 2010 Detroit Motor Show.

The MINI Beachcomber Concept is a four-seater concept with an open body and focused on versatiliy and open air activities. It is based on the MINI Crossover and inspired by the Mini Moke from the 1960s. It will make its dubut at the 2010 Detroit Motor Show.

Mini has revealed the Coupe Concept, a sporty version of the iconic model which features a steeply-raked windshield, low roofline, aluminum roof and a 211 hp engine. It will make its debut at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

Mini in partnership with Airsteam Inc. have created a one-off Mini Cooper S Clubman coupled with a trailer designed by Copenhagen based furniture brand Republic of Fritz Hansen. It will be displayed at the next Salone del Mobile show in Milan.

Mini has revealed the John Cooper Works and John Cooper Works Clubman special models. Debuting at the Geneva Motor Show, they feature a 211 hp engine and extensive chassis modifications. The launch is scheduled for August 2008.
