Audi has just released new images of the Q7, that will make its debut at Frankfurt and will go on sale at the start of 2006.
The photos were taken during the intensive tests Audi performed on the Q7 prototypes during the first months of 2005. The tests were held in the toughest conditions imaginable, including Arctic regions and burning deserts.
Design

"I'm confident that the Q7 is "very Audi", intelligent as well as modestly designed in every way.
"Maintainign a strong shoulder - typical to Audi - we made the shoulder-line slightly uneven and shady while assigning enough space and cutting off edges to make it look wider and lighter."
Satoshi Wada, Senior Exterior Designer at Audi Design.

The moving surfaces concept developed by the designers at Audi lends the car a dynamic, multifaceted outer appearance. Convex and concave body surfaces add drama and create an exciting interplay of light and shade for the onlooker.
"Moving surfaces are connecting in a homogeneous and flowing way. It results in a natural balance all over the body. The rhythmical body section with light and shadow gives new quality to the Q7".
Dany Garand, Audi Design Team Leader
