From 20 to 22 October 2005 the Modena Exhibition Centre will be hosting ALUMOTIVE, International Exhibition of Innovative Solutions, Subcontracting, Aluminium Components and Technological Materials for the Transport Industry. In 2005, following the success of the first edition - 272 exhibitors; a display area of over 8,000 square metres; 7,621 professional visitors; 360 supporters - the show is moving to its ideal location: Modena, cradle of excellence in the international automotive industry.

Display Sectors
The absolute pre-eminence of this exhibition is assured by the completeness of the display sectors, which offer a broad panorama of the transport system: ALUMOTIVE can boast the participation of leading Italian and foreign companies specialised in aluminium components and technological materials for bicycles, motorcycles, automobiles, commercial and industrial vehicles and public means of transport, nautical, aeronautic and aerospace applications, high-precision machining technologies, machinery and products for aluminium welding and finishing, modelling and engineering and, more in general, the top names in subcontracting and advanced automotive research. Special display areas will also be dedicated to components for competition vehicles and construction and earth-moving machinery.
Alumotive is a unique occasion for gaining insight into technical and scientific advances in the field of lightweight alloys and innovative materials, present and future applications in the automotive sector and their impact on the environment and safety.

New technological materials
In 2005, to keep in close touch with markets and reflect emerging trends, ALUMOTIVE will be expanding its display categories to include the new technological materials which, thanks to scientific research, have joined aluminium and its alloys in vehicle design: composite panels of aluminium and other materials, metal foams, special polymers, ultralight alloys of the magnesium family and other innovative structural materials such as titanium superalloys or new special types of steel.
With ALUMOTIVE, the exhibition of innovative solutions, set to take place from the 20th through 22nd of October 2005, Modena confirms its role as world capital of subcontracting and aluminium components and technological materials for the transport industry.
