What it is...

• This section will be a showcase of innovative ideas and projects for the Transportation Design and Industrial Design world.
  
• We will add all the projects that will be considered satisfying in both quality and creativity.
  
• For every selected project we will create a unique page with an article describing the project with both text and images, and complete with the author's data (including contact details and website URL).
  
• All the selected projects will show up at least once on Car Body Design Homepage.

What it is NOT...

• It isn't a Portfolio Database
• It isn't a Curriculum Vitae Database
• It isn't a Car Design Community or Car Drawing Forum
• It isn't a Design Competition

How it works...

Pretty simple... If you have a complete project in the Transportation Design or Industrial Design fields and you wish to submit it to Car Body Design, please read carefully the following lines and then send us an email.

Things to do...

JUST ONE THING! Send us an e-mail with the following material:

• Images in a compressed format (JPG, GIF, PNG). Please do not use uncompressed formats like TIFF or BMP and do not send low quality images. You can send 3D Rendering, digital renderings and sketches, scans of hand-made drawings, design software screenshots, photos regarding the project (clay models, design steps, etc...) and anything you like.
  
• A textual description in English. If you want you can also send a description in a different language, but the english version is mandatory. Please make sure the whole text length is under 10,000 chars (whitespaces included). You can send the description in plain text format (TXT) or in the body of your message.
  The description should contain also some technical details (software used, design methods, etc...).
  
• (Optional) A Flash animation (SWF format)
  
• Your personal information:
  
  • Required: First Name, Last Name, contact details.
  • Optional: A brief resume, your website URL or anything you want to be published along with the project

SIZE LIMITS:

There is no limit to the max number of material (images and animations) you can submit, but please make sure the TOTAL SIZE of the message IS UNDER 3,0 MB.

We reserve the right to choose the number of images and the parts of text to publish.

HOW TO SUBMIT MORE THAN ONE PROJECT:

All the materials attached to one message must be related to a SINGLE DESIGN PROJECT. If you wish to submit more than one project, just send them as separate messages.

Things NOT to do...

• Please don't submit single images, work-in-progress projects or sets of images without any textual description.
  
• Please don't submit low-quality images and texts, not suitable for publication.
  
• If you are an amateur it may occur that your work won't be of good enough quality to be published. Maybe in the next future we will add a section dedicated to young students and "newbie amateurs" but this is not decided yet.
  
• Anyway, even if you are an amateur or a young designer, if you think your work has good qualities, do not hesitate to submit it: we are looking for design ideas and creativity, wherever they come from.
  We'll be happy to promote unknown but talented designers!

Design Ideas Basic Rules

• The submitted works will be selected by our staff, so we cannot guarantee that all the projects will be published. However we'll try to keep the number of published projects as high as possible.
  
• The publication will be totally free-of-charge.
  
• All the submitted projects will remain property of ther respective authors.
  
• By submitting your work:
  
  • You are giving your authorization for Car Body Design to publish the provided material.
  • You are claiming that your are the author of the provided material and that you own the copyrights to it.
  • You will be considered responsible for any copyright infringement issues that may occurr.
  • If needed, we reserve the right to add our comments and/or to make some secondary modifications to the images and the textual description, with the sole purpose of adapting them for the publication.
    
• After we have received your submission, we will contact you as soon as possible, even if your project is not selected for publication.
• After the publication, if you wish to remove you work from our database, you can contact us and we will delete the page within a couple of days.
