Report: From Dream to Reality II – part 2
The second part of our exclusive report from the second edition of the ‘Dream to Reality’ exhibition, showcasing concept cars and industrial design projects by yung Iranian designers.

Ford Mustang Concept
The design study of a new Ford Mustang Concept was presented by Farzad Barkhordary, Mohamad Monfaredzade and Amir-Houshang Ahmadi, who did the modeling in 3DS MAX.
The goal of the project was to express a feeling of ‘nostalgia’ mixed with a sense of wildness.
Osture Motorrcycle Concept
Osture is a futuristic motorcycle concept which features two differentials. The vehicle was modelled in great detail by Mohammad Reza Shojaie.
Osture has a two-wheel-drive system and hydraulic suspensions with pro-link springs. the design of this single-seater vehicle was inspired by designs of Persepolis.
Scania Concepts
A set of design concepts based onthe Scania brand was prepared by Mr. Mojtaba Safari and Ms. Farzane Honarbakhsh. The first one is a horse truck inspired by bionics and nature.
The other works include an off-road SUV, a motorcycle and non-transportation items: a resizable shoe for truck drivers and a suitcase integrating a LED display which whos the luggage weight.
Trimove Concept by Mohamad Qazal
The Trimove Concept by Mohamad Qazal is a three-wheeler electric motorcycle which uses electromechanical technology to do complex movements.
The three wheels keep it balanced when it is not moving; balance when it doesn’t move. The sporty body integrates with the driver body to create an aerodynamic shape.
Other Projects and Works
Iman Maqsudi participated in by a Renault and a Electric Dodge Wiper.
Hussein Rajabi presented 2 electric motorcycles.
Morteza Moazeni (Bahman Auto-factory), has presented a set of free sketches
Mohammad Monfared, a shipbuilding student at AmirKabir University, has presented a design study for a modern yacht.
Hamed Ghafari from Tabriz, has introduced a scale model of a Ferrari concept. Amir-Masoud Daryani presented a special weapon design.
Farzad Barkhordary participated with a compact Ford SUV, a Suzuki Grand Vitara-based SUV and some sketches of a Lamborghini concept based on Mohamad Monfared’s project. Additionally, a little are the works as well.
Conclusions
As organized and host Farzad Barkhordary explains, “The exhibition was the result of hundreds of hours of teamwork, [...] and represents a plea to automakers to take into higher consideration Iranian young designers’ skills and creativity”.
