Autodesk Alias Sketch 2011
Autodesk has released Alias Sketch 2011, a hybrid paint and vector illustration software targeted to industrial designers and available for both PC and Mac. Among the features is a plug-in for integration with AutoCAD. The retail price is $550.
Autodesk Alias Sketch 2011 is a standalone illustration software that combines both raster and vector workflows. It is aimed at offering graphic and industrial designers an effective way to present and communicate product and graphic concepts.
The software – which is availble for PC and Mac platforms – includes the Autodesk Alias Sketch for AutoCAD software, which adds fully integrated illustration, painting, and manipulation capabilities directly into AutoCAD.
The retail price is $550. Alias Sketch is available as a free 30-day trial and can be purchased through Autodesk’s online store. Below we report some additional videos of the software in action.
